SHERIDAN — Wyoming’s reliance on the mercurial coal market has led to ongoing discussions about diversifying the state’s economy. The challenges facing Wyoming, though, exist on a smaller scale as well, with individual businesses that have relied on the coal industry having to adapt. CODY — Seven nighttime speed limit signs were cut down in an act of vandalism late Friday or early Saturday west of Cody on U.S. 14/16/20. Rebecca (Becky) Ann Morley age 78 passed away on 9-20-2018 after an extended illness. Her and her husband Rex Morley were longtime residents of Worland before moving to Helena, MT due to health issues. Rebecca is survived by her husband Rex, sons Daniel (Theresa) and David (Lynn), Grandchildren David (Susie), Thomas, Danielle (Taylor) and great grandson Thomas. Richard M. Rush, Jr., 51, a resident of Worland, Wyoming, formerly of Ronan, Montana died September 8,2018 in an ATV accident while pursuing his passion of hunting. He was the son of Barbara Parker Rush of Ronan and Dr. Richard M. Rush and step mother Debra Rush of Worland. Richie loved hunting, fishing and boating. He was a self-taught handy man and could fix just about anything mechanical. He was also somewhat of a master gardener and boasted quite a large yield of vegetables this summer.... Full story

WORLAND - On Saturday at the Worland Aquatic Center the Worland Lady Warriors saw how they stack up against the rest of the 3A East, finishing fourth. There are only three weeks until 3A East conference meet in Douglas and this is the point in the season where the practices get a bit tougher in preparation for the postseason.
