WORLAND - Washakie County employee Fran Scranton thought maybe he had a head cold, not COVID-19, that is until a co-worker tested positive. David Matthew Phillips, 35, lifelong Worland resident, passed away at his home Friday, September 25, 2020. David was born March 4, 1985 to Howard and Sandy (Alaniz) Phillips. He joined big brother Chase, and later they gained two baby sisters, Kerry, and Jamie. David attended Worland schools and became an avid reader. Russ Misner passed away at his home in Pocatello, Id, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday September 13, 2020. He was born November 3, 1946 to the late Roy and Dorothy Misner in Worland, Wyoming, the oldest of three children. He spent his youth playing sports, hunting and fishing near the family cabin in the Big Horn Mountains, ranching on the Leiper Cottonwood and Gooseberry Cattle Ranch and engaging his early love of music in a high school rock band.
