    NEW YORK (AP) — Stocks slipped Thursday after the U.S. said economic growth slowed more than expected in the summer. A mixed batch of third-quarter earnings reports didn’t inspire investors. Companies including restaurant chain Buffalo Wild Wings and camera maker GoPro plunged after releasing weak results.     WORLAND — Washakie County School Dist. No. 1 schools are performing above average according to an AdvancED report. Officials from AdvancED visited schools in the school district throughout the week. The review culminated Thursday with a public meeting at the Worland Middle School Auditorium.     MUNCY, Pa. (AP) — State police used shotguns Thursday to deflate a wayward surveillance blimp that broke loose in Maryland before coming down into trees in the Pennsylvania countryside. The military was in the process of gathering up some 6,000 feet of tether, and the blimp’s tail section could be removed Thursday afternoon, said U.S. Army Captain Matthew Villa.     The Lady Warriors may not have had their strongest performance on Thursday, but still did well enough to advance seven swimmers to the finals of the 3A State Swim Meet today in Gillette.
