WORLAND — Today (Tuesday), during most of the day, the Washakie County Road & Bridge crew will be replacing a culvert on Lane 17, which is located between Road 15 1/2 and Road 15 1/4. Washakie County Sheriff Steve Rakness asked motorists not to use that portion of Lane 17 today , “due to the fact the road will be closed.” He said the portion of Lane 17 that will be closed is located west of Lane 16 1/2 and north of South Flat. WORLAND – Northern Wyoming voters head to the polls today, with more than 50 polling stations in Washakie, Hot Springs, and Big Horn counties, open from 7 a.m. until closing at 7p.m. Washakie County voters will vote at either the Worland Community Center or Ten Sleep Senior Center, accordingly. CHEYENNE (AP) — The Wyoming Lottery transferred nearly $800,000 to counties, cities and towns in the state last month. The lottery now has transferred about $2.8 million in profits to local governments across the state this year. Wyoming’s lottery started selling tickets in August 2014. So far, WyoLotto players have won more than 1.7 million times. The lottery has paid out more than $26.4 million in prizes....
