    WORLAND - The Worland Lady Warriors swimming season wrapped last weekend in Laramie during the 3A State girls swimming meet.   • 'Scouting for Food' drive this Saturday

    WORLAND — Worland Cub and Boy Scouts will be collecting food for the Worland food pantry this Saturday, according to Assistant Commissioner Tim Barrus. Barrus said the Scouts will be dropping off bags at homes inside Worland throughout the week for their annual “Scouting for Food” drive. Residents are asked to fill the bags with non-perishable food items and leave on their door step to be picked up Saturday. Barrus said the food items must not be past the expiration date.   • Annual 'Shop With a Cop' program coming Dec. 8

    WORLAND - The Washakie County Law Enforcement Center will be hosting its annual Shop with a Cop this year on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 9 a.m. The local program began in 2015 as a way to give back to the community and to promote a positive relationship with the youth in the area.     GILLETTE — In 2017, 13 percent of the 475 arrests in Campbell County for driving while under the influence involved drugs, a percentage that has steadily increased since the Wyoming Association of Sheriffs and Chiefs of Police started collecting statistics about seven years ago.
