    WORLAND – The 64th Washakie County Homemakers Hobby Day is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Washakie County Fairgrounds located at 501 15 Mile Road in Worland. Hobby Day is a craft fair with a twist. There will not be any commercial items for sale at the event. “We have about 45 tables and all items for sale are handcrafted items,” Washakie County Homemaker Bonnies Schreibeis said.     TEN SLEEP – The Town of Ten Sleep awarded a bid to fix the town’s lagoon, which has breached its original bentonite liner, during Wednesday’s town council meeting. Bornhoft Construction of Riverton won the bid, at a total of $675,225. Two other bids were received, each in excess of $1 million. The leak was discovered this summer, and town engineer Lidstone and Associates recommended replacement rather than repair to the facility.     POWELL — Like a huge puzzle, young scientists at the University of Wyoming are attempting to piece together how a mammoth died outside of Cody centuries ago.     TEN SLEEP - Going 1-22 during the volleyball season was tough on the Ten Sleep Lady Pioneers but while the year was trying, the Lady Pioneers did receive good news on Sunday.
