    WORLAND — All three incumbents running for re-election for the Washakie County School District No. 1 Board of Trustees won their races on Tuesday along with a newcomer who won her first term on the board. That’s according to unofficial election results. Worland-area Washakie County voters granted Don Bryant (1,641 votes), Sarah Lungren (1,182 votes) and Terri Logan (874 votes) additional terms on the school board.   • Voters support sales, lodging taxes by wide margins

    WORLAND — Washakie County voters overwhelmingly approved continuing the one-cent general purpose tax and the 2% lodging tax on Tuesday. The sales tax was approved by 69.7% of the voters casting ballots on Election Day, with 2,125 in favor and 925 opposed. The tax will be distributed to eight entities over the next four years — Town of Ten Sleep, City of Worland, Worland and Ten Sleep senior centers, Crisis Prevention and Response Center, Worland Community Center Complex, Worland Youth Learning Center and Washakie Development Association.   • Last day to apply for Emergency Rental Assistance Program is today

    WASHAKIE COUNTY – Today, Nov. 10 is the last day to apply for the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP). According to Kassie Nolting with Wyo Help, ERAP was created using money from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act to assist qualifying low income households in paying their rent and utilities.     Average gas prices up 0.4 cents per gallon since last week in Wyoming CHEYENNE (WNE) —Average gasoline prices in Wyoming have risen 0.4 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.65 per gallon Monday, according to GasBuddy.com’s survey of 494 stations in Wyoming. Prices in Wyoming are 20.8 cents per gallon lower than a month ago, and stand 22.8 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
