    WORLAND — A Thermopolis boy who was struck by a freight train in Thermopolis Sunday has been named. Gavin Jacobson, 12, of Thermopolis was struck and killed by a passing Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway train Sunday at approximately 9:38 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Thermopolis Police Department Chief Steve Shay said. Seniors Brianna Jolley and Madi Edeler competed in a group project in food products and processing systems and were awarded a gold emblem with an eighth-place overall.     GILLETTE (AP) — Authorities say a 19-year-old Gillette man has died after the car he had been working on crushed him. The Gillette News Record reports Undersheriff Quentin Reynolds says Ian Voiles was found dead by a friend Friday morning.
