    CHEYENNE — The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is updating its plan for managing chronic wasting disease (CWD). CWD is a fatal neurological disease of deer, elk and moose, which was first detected in wild populations in Wyoming in 1987. Game and Fish is seeking feedback on the draft of the CWD management plan now and will ask the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission to approve a final version of the plan at its meeting January 28-29, 2016 in Cheyenne.     WORLAND — With Worland receiving its first major winter storm of the year, city crews also faced their first test in getting the streets clear. According to Worland Superintendent of Public Works Brian Burky, the city is successfully removing snow and ice buildup from last week’s storm. Burky added that there is always room for improvement.     Longtime Worland resident Sidney Harold Geis, 85, died peacefully at his home in Worland, WY on Saturday, November 28, 2015. He was born on July 28, 1930 at the Harvard Ranch near Ten Sleep, Wyoming. He was the son of Hazel Irene (Harvard) and Nicholas E. Geis.
