    WORLAND – Last weekend, Worland High School's drama team won first place in 3A sweepstakes in Rock Springs and Green River. With 186 points, WHS was the third highest in the tournament against 28 other schools.     WORLAND – A Worland man was life-flighted to a Billings, Mont. hospital over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend after an apparent heroin overdose. Toxicology reports showed the synthetic opioid fentanyl was also in the patient’s system. The man survived and remains hospitalized while he continues to recover.     Arlene C. Lane, 93, passed away on December 2, 2018 at the Thermopolis Rehabilitation and Care Center. Arlene was born on December 11, 1924 in Casper, Wyoming, the second daughter born to Clifford Hugh and Maude Pearl (Reeves) Glenn. She spent her early years in Casper before the family moved to Worland in the early 30's. Her father moved the family to work for the packing company as a butcher.
