  • SkyWest Airlines competing for Riverton airport contract

    RIVERTON (AP) — SkyWest Airlines has submitted a proposal looking to compete against Denver Air Connection for the Riverton Regional Airport’s air service contract in the 2018 fiscal year. Air Service Task Force Chair Missy White says because of funding constraints, the city will only be able move forward with one airline. The Ranger reports that Denver Air began operating in Riverton in July 2016 and has begun to see an increase in its boarding numbers.     TEN SLEEP – The annual Ten Sleep Parade of Lights, hosted by the Ten Sleep – Hyattville Lions Club with the theme of “snowpokes,” starts Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m. Event organizer Becky Cooper stated that there should be at least a dozen floats adorned with lights and music.     CASPER (AP) — Wyoming Department of Health Director Tom Forslund asked lawmakers for help in addressing the $32 million budget deficit that’s only expected to grow.
