TEN SLEEP – During the Ten Sleep School Board meeting Monday evening board members learned that a motivational speaker would be coming to Ten Sleep School in February thanks to Ten Sleep School Administrative Assistant Neysha Lyman. According to a release from Chief of Police Chris Kampbell, the deceased individual has been identified as 59-year-old Kevin D. Payne also known as Chase Payne. WORLAND - Washakie County's Wyoming Public Lands Initiative (WPLI) working group met on Wednesday and hosted representatives from Hot Springs and Big Horn counties to work further on recommendations due to the state next year. Long time Worland resident, Mary Hamilton, passed away November 27, 2017. Mary was born February 3, 1925 in Bath, England. During WW II, she met Rex Hamilton and they married on April 6, 1945. Following the war she joined Rex in America and they moved to Worland. Mary was an active member of the community. She taught ballet for many years and performed in several theater productions.
