Twelve-year old law was intended to protect the identity of legal wolf hunters, and that doesn’t fit the description of a Sublette County man who broke the law by taking possession of a live wolf. Wyoming wildlife officials on Thursday released their first public statement about a wolf that was illegally taken captive and then subjected to alleged abuses that have generated outrage around the world. Chief Nursing Officer Brandy Kottman filled in for Chief Executive Officer Lisa Van Brunt to deliver the CEO report at the Washakie Medical Center Board of Trustees meeting on March 26, where she detailed the current project to replace the hospital’s MRI machine. Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon vetoed House Bill 0125 on March 22. HB125, also known as House Enrolled Act No. 49, would have repealed gun free zones in Wyoming.
