Hisashi “Sas” Nakamura passed away at the age of 88 August 7, 2015, while being treated at Kadlec Medical Center in Richland, Washington. Sas was born March 4, 1927 in Powell, Wyoming. Born in Washakie County in 1932 to John and Margaret (Eckert) Salzman, Virginia graduated from Washakie County High School and then attended Carroll College, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1953. Born June 7, 1942 in Cement Oklahoma, he was the son of Harold B. and Phyllis (Moser) Ward. Tommy Lynn Bunnell, 65, was bourne out of the Blizzard of 1949 that ravaged the Great Plains. The little town of Hereford, Colorado in eastern Colorado where Tommy would have calledhome was hit hard. On a hill over looking Crow Creek, the Bunnell family had resided in their Frank Lloyd Wright designed home with massive ranch covering thousands of acres.
