Elks Hoop shoot Tuesday Dec. 10 at Worland Middle School WORLAND - The time has come for the best free-throw shooters in Worland to showcase their skills. The Worland chapter of the Elks Lodge 1908 will host the annual Hoop Shoot for boys and girls ages 8 to 13 on Tuesday 6:30 p.m. at Worland Middle School. CASPER — The Worland Lady Warriors advanced to the 3A State volleyball championship match Friday night, beating the Douglas Lady Bearcats 3-0 (25-22, 25-22, 25-23) in the semifinals at the Casper Event Center. BUFFALO — Typically, after winning a state championship, a coach can look forward to a bump in the number of players who come out for the team the next year. That’s not the case for Buffalo High School football coach Rob Hammond. THERMOPOLIS - While they were unable to defend their home course the Hot Springs County Lady Bobcats cross-country team were still able to finish second and have three runners make the All-Conference team. WORLAND - Starting 0-4 on the season was tough for the Worland Warriors football team but they were able to push all of that aside and pick up their first win of the season against the Rawlins Outlaws on Oct. 4 at Worland High School. WORLAND - The 2019 girls swimming season has been a unique one for the Worland Lady Warriors, to say the least. The Worland Aquatic Center has been working on some fixes this over the last handful of weeks and it has made training for the Lady Warriors tougher.
