There’s nothing like home cooking, and the Worland High School track and field team made the most of hosting their annual meet, the D&D Invitational, on April 4. Competing at the Cody Invitational on March 21, the Ten Sleep track and field teams got their 2024 season underway. Lady Pioneer Izzy Fox was among the highlights for Ten Sleep in Cody. Making history at the state girls wrestling tournament last week in Casper, Worland's Rivers Carrell became the first-ever girl state champion for the Worland High School wrestling program. The Worland Warriors swimming and diving team only had two swimmers compete at the 3A State meet in Laramie last weekend, but both swimmers cut time and gave it their all. Senior Joey Durrant and junior Scott Thomas were the Warriors to compete at the season's culminating event.
