LARAMIE – The last time coach Joe Legerski and the University of Wyoming women’s basketball team played Pepperdine was in 2013. UW won and Legerski picked up his 200th win. CODY– The Big Horn Basin Sage-Grouse Working Group will meet March 21 from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Washakie County Fairgrounds (501 15 Mile Road) in Worland. The role of the group is to develop and initiate local conservation plans to benefit sage-grouse and, whenever feasible, other species that use sagebrush habitats. The group will meet to discuss updates to the Governor’s Sage-Grouse Executive Order and will welcome a new member. WORLAND - It has been an eventful month for Worland Warrior wrestler Luke Goncalves, the sophomore was not sure he'd be able to wrestle this season due to a leg injury suffered during the football season. The Hot Spring County High School Bobcats won the 2A West regional wrestling meet over the weekend scoring 186 points and having two regional champions in 113-pound Austin Ireland and 220-pound Logan Cole. LARAMIE – The University of Wyoming men's basketball team found out first hand why Nevada is the No. 7-ranked team in the country.
