Funeral services for Dylan Crossland, 25 year old Kaycee man who died Friday morning in a 4-wheeler accident south of Buffalo, will be held Wednesday July 22, at 10:00 at the Harold Jarrard Park Building in Kaycee with Pastors Matt Davis and Dave Largent officiating. Visitation will be held from the Harness Funeral Home on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and at the Harold Jarrard Park Building in Kaycee the day of the funeral from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.. Donations in Dylan's memory may be made to the Dylan Crossland Music Scholarship Fund in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo. Dylan James Crossland was born on March 11, 1990 in Casper, Wyoming to Jalan Crossland and Jodie Smith. He grew up and went to school in Kaycee and graduated from Kaycee High School with the class of 2008 where he was active in Basketball and Track. After high school he attended the University of Sioux Falls on a track scholarship. He transferred to Casper College where he went for a year and a half before transferring to the University of Wyoming. Dylan graduated from the University of Wyoming in May of 2014 with a B.S. in Education. Every summer since he was 17 he had worked for Back Country Spraying. He recently received a teaching contract with the Niobrara County School District and was set to teach Science at the Lusk High School.

Dylan was a musician and loved writing songs and riding his motorcycle.

He is survived by his Mother and step-father Jodie and Jason Humble of Kaycee; his father Jalan Crossland of Ten Sleep; one brother Jarrett Humble of Kaycee; his girlfriend Deziray VanBuskirk and her children Joseph and Matthew of Casper; maternal grandparents Doug and Sonja Smith of Ten Sleep; Paternal grandparents Bob and Anita Hinton of Ten Sleep, George and Karen Crossland of Riverside, Washington, and Jerry and Jeannie Humble of Sturgis, South Dakota and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Helen Blare.
