Washakie County 4-H archery contest opens 2015 fair

WORLAND - The Washakie County Fair got underway Monday night as the shooting sports will take up most of the week.

Archery began the week, followed air rifle, pistol and muzzle loading last night, shot gun tonight and .22 rifle and pistol Thursday night.

Also this weed was judging for 4-H fabric and fashion.

The 4-H Public Style Revue last night.

Results from the archery contest were as follows:

Sights – Intermediate

Talon Andersen, first; Luke Voss, second; Jade Hefeneider, third and Aspen Greek, fourth.

Bare bow – Juniors

Jackson Richard, first,; Garrett Piel, second; Megan Jackson, third; Jacob Gartrell, fourth.

Bare bow – Intermediate

Josiah Hamilton, first; Josiah Gartrell, second; Justin Sorrick, third.

Release – Junior

Hailey Uhrig, first; Brianna Uhrig, second; Myah Herby, third.
