Uhrig earns three grand championship awards

WORLAND - Hailey Uhrig earned three grand championship ribbons in the fabric and fashion/buymanship, knitting, crocheting and quilting categories for the 2015 Washakie County Fair. Awards were presented at the Public Style Revue Tuesday night in Worland at the Extension Office in the Worland Community Complex Center.
Uhrig was honored as junior grand champion in modeling, junior grand champion in construction and grand champion in creative design.
Rachel Drake won two grand champion awards in the senior division for modeling and buymanship.
Katie Baumstarck won grand champion awards in modeling and in construction, both in intermediate division.
Reserve champions were for juniors: Briana Uhrig in modeling and construction; for intermediates, Jade Hefenieder in modeling and Emily Baumstarck in construction.
Encouragement awards were presented to Olivia Shaffer, Anja Sheesley, Rivers Carrell, Ellianna Baumstarck, Nicholas Hamilton and Justin Sorrick. Sorrick also won the Dorothy Hinkle Memorial Scholarship.
