Washakie County Library hosts free program
Kateri, the beautiful golden eagle was hit by a vehicle and suffered a compound fracture to her right humerus. Despite a surgical attempt to repair the damage, she did not regain full flight abilities. She is often the star of the raptor programs.
WORLAND - The Washakie County Library in Worland is bringing the Draper Museum Raptor Experience from Cody to town Thursday.
Director Karen Jean Funk said, "We will host the program on the lawn at the library at 6:30 p.m. sharp. The program will last 45-60 minutes, with time for a question and answer session."
She added, "This is a family-friendly program and we encourage all ages level to attend....
