ASIN, WY……..Robert (BOB) H. Cummings, 65, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015 at his home in Basin, Wyoming.
Bob was born July 18, 1950 at Newcastle, Wyoming, to Harold A. and Irene E. (Adams) Cummings. Bob grew up in Gillette, Wyoming and attended schools there, graduating in 1969 from Campbell County High School.
He then entered the U.S. Army, serving in Germany and received an honorable discharge in 1971. Shortly after his discharge, Bob moved to the Big Horn Basin area where he lived in Powell, Worland, and Basin, Wyoming.
Bob enjoyed the outdoor life of hunting and camping. He was competitive in darts and pool, but really appreciated good times with his friends and family.
Bob retired from Crown Cork & Seal in Worland after many years of service.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, LaRae, his brother, Ray, his sister, Sally, a niece, and a nephew.
Bob is survived by his children: Tracy J. Stahl of Seguin, Texas, Zachary A. Cummings of Orinda, California , and Lexi S. Ray of Omaha, Nebraska; 6 grandchildren; his sisters, Pat Farmer (Scott), Susan Saunders, and Nancy Slattery (Jim), all of Gillette, Wyoming. He is also survived by an aunt, an uncle, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Per Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
Atwood Family Funeral Directors assisted the family with the arrangements.
