Ten Sleep Harvest Dinner Saturday

TEN SLEEP – For many years Ten Sleep has had a Harvest Dinner the first weekend of hunting season to benefit the Ten Sleep Library and the Ten Sleep ambulance. This year the Harvest Dinner will be 5 – 8 p.m. on Saturday in the Ten Sleep School cafeteria.

"Ten Sleep has been doing this for many many years. It keeps the community together and shows how much the community supports the two entities. I look forward to this year's Harvest Dinner being as successful as past dinners," Harvest Dinner Coordinator Michelle Fettig said.

The dinner will offer three different kinds of meats, turkey, roast beef and pork and many different sides and pies, each donated by the local Ten Sleep churches. "All the churches take care of the side items and pies," Fettig said "The Ten Sleep Friends of the Library will be doing the dinner rolls and the Ten Sleep ambulance crew will be doing the relishes," she added.

During the dinner many homemade and store bought items donated by local residents and people from out of state, will be raffled off by the Ten Sleep Library staff. There will also be an auction during the dinner for items such as handmade bed spreads and paintings. All raffle and auction items can be viewed at the Ten Sleep Library.

Raffle tickets can be purchased at the Ten Sleep Library ahead of time or they can be purchased at the dinner.
