Larry Garner Cady

Larry Garner Cady, 72, passed away on October 25, 2015 due to complications with his health. He was born on May 10, 1943 in Bozeman, MT to Garner and Dorothy Cady. Larry graduated from Willow Creek High School in Willow Creek, MT in 1961. During high school, Larry was active in basketball, football, and the Order of DeMolay. In 1968 he started his career as a produce manager with Safeway.

Larry married Linda Kohler from Cut Bank, MT on September 27, 1969 and they were married for 42 years. In 1971 they moved to Worland where he continued his career as a produce manager. In 2007, Larry was honored for 50 years of service in the grocery business.

Larry played city league basketball and coached youth City League baseball and basketball for many years. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church for over 40 years and served as an Elder and a Deacon. He had recently joined the Grace Lutheran Church.

Larry had a passion for cars, trains, and sports. He supported the local high school sports teams through his attendance at their games. Larry enjoyed telling stories and talking with EVERYONE.

Larry is survived by his daughter Laura and her husband Ernie Barroso, their children April and Adam, of Round Lake Beach, IL, son Steven and his wife Sara (Paris), their children Kirstie and her husband Luke Sypherd of St. Anthony, ID, Amanda, Andrew, Joshua, and Owen, of Worland, and brother Gary Cady of Seattle, WA.

A private memorial for family will be held at a later date. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Washakie Ministerial Association, PO Box 851, in Larry's memory.
