Della Mae Kraft, 91 year old Worland resident, passed away at Worland Healthcare Center on November 14, 2015.
Della was born on July 18, 1925 in Konawa, OK to John Thomas and Emma Elizabeth (Blair) Williams, the 4th of 5 children. She was raised in Konawa but attended school in Vamoosa where she graduated High School.
She moved to Wyoming in the 40's where she met and married Jacob Kraft. They raised and well cared for three wonderful children, Charlie, Betty and Dave. The couple were later sealed for time and all eternity in the LDS Billings, Montana Temple.
Della worked at various jobs to help her husband in raising the family. She also loved being a foster grandparent at West Side Elementary for many years. Her hobbies included crocheting and playing card games, especially Pinochle, and Cribbage. She enjoyed going bass fishing with her sister, Ruby on her visits to Oklahoma.
When her health declined, she moved to Worland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was treated with loving kindness there and it became her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sisters, Velma Brewer and Josie Williams, brother, David Williams, son, Charles Kraft, and grandson, Frederick Whaley.
Survivors include her daughter, Betty King of Worland; son David (Carol) Kraft; daughter-in-law, Alice (Hastings) Kraft; grandchildren: Kevin (Tamara) Kraft, Ian Kraft, Jessica (Travis) Hill, Jacob (Melissa) Kraft, Tesa Searfoss (Robert Duval), 12 great grandchildren; and one sister, Ruby Kiser of Jet, OK.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center with Bishop Charlie Wassum officiating.
