Christmas Parade of Lights tonight
WORLAND – The 2015 Parade of Lights, titled "Christmas Around the World" will be held tonight at 6 pm, in Worland. The parade will start at 20th Street and Big Horn and will conclude at Seventh and Big Horn.
After the parade, Santa Claus will be at Pioneer Park. Boys and girls will have a chance to register to win a bicycle, sponsored by Devon Energy. Santa will also be featured on the Eagle Riders float, at the end of the parade.
The grand marshals for the parade will be the Worland High School girls volleyball team, to lead the parade with the help of the Worland Fired Department. Overall, a dozen entries and floats are expected to attend, including the Boy Scout Color Guard.
Following the parade, a chili feed and people's choice voting will be held at Reese & Ray's IGA, with winners receiving a plaque from the Worland Chamber of Commerce.
