Serving the Big Horn Basin for over 100 years
Christopher Eric Christenson, 25-year-old Worland resident passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Washakie Medical Center.
Chris was born in Worland on December 9, 1990, the oldest of three children born to Mark Thomas and Sheila Ann (Wagner) Christenson. As a child, he loved to draw and played with his toy trucks, backhoes, ambulances and fire trucks. His love for animated movies began very young and continued into adulthood. He received his education in Worland, graduating in 2008 from Wyoming Youth Challenge. He attended Sheridan college for a short time in the welding program, but decided making money would be a better use of his time. He worked for Taco Johns during his high school years. After graduating he went to work for R & S Well Service and then for DHS, Stuart Bower and Joint Venture. He was employed by Enduro Operating at the time of his death.
Chris was a private person, a man of few words and many talents. He did not like being idle. He would spend time tinkering on his truck, or building models. He loved to fish and spend time with his family. He would help wherever he was needed, often asking people for things to do.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Christenson.
Chris is survived by his father, Mark Christenson of Cody, mother, Sheila, brother and sister, Cody and Cassie, maternal grandparents, Jurn and Gayle Wagner, paternal grandmother, Carolyn Christenson all of Worland; Aunts and Uncles, Robyn Wildman (Howard), Jurn Wagner, Jr. (Amy), Craig Wagner, Shawn Christenson and Connie Vigil (Andy) and numerous cousins whom he loved dearly. Survivors also include Jessica Moore, the love of his life. She was his rock and he was hers.
