The South Big Horn County Landfill transfer station, located near Greybull, features a three-bay storage area with 16-inch reinforced retaining wall. Garbage collected in the facility is to be shoveled over the wall into waiting containers below for shipment to the North Big Horn Landfill.
GREYBULL – After three years of planning and a year of construction, the South Big Horn County Landfill at Greybull will open as a transfer station in May. The facility, located at the entrance to the landfill, features state-of-the-art electrical, water, and automatic door systems, along with capacity to hold tons of residential garbage for transfer.
