Brenna Michelle Rankin, 2, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at her home in Thermopolis after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born June 25, 2013 in Riverton, WY, she was the second child of Shane and Sara (Ford) Rankin. Brenna loved to sing, dance, play with her brother and dogs, watch cartoons and watch football with her dad. With her parents she attended Risen Son Southern Baptist Church and was loved by all.
Loved ones remaining include her parents; brother, Raylan, grandparents Ray and Bonnie Smith and Mickeyjean Ford, all of Thermopolis; Aunts, Brenda (Charles) Bloom, Wheatland, Michelle (Russ) Ferree, Thermopolis, Marty (Kay) Dickey, Salt Lake City, UT, Debbie Black, Worland; Uncles, Daniel Ford, Thermopolis, Dick (Franny) Schneider, Titusville, PA; cousins, Kaylee Bloom, Mari Ford and Charly (Rob) Johnke and special friend, Kaylee Ortiz of Dacono, CO. The family wishes to recognize the community of Thermopolis for all their love and support.
Brenna was preceded in death by her great grandmothers, Mick Hayter and Henrietta Schneider; grandfather, Terry Ford and cousin, Embree Grace Johnke.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 21, 2:00 PM at the Risen Son Southern Baptist Church with Pastor Brian Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Monument Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church Monday morning, 10 AM to noon.
