Liberty Day

Worland attorney Marcy Argeris, with the assistance of her daughter Brenna (right), explains the electoral process to South Side Elementary fifth-grade students during the annual Liberty Day presentation Tuesday. After a review of the democratic process and a history of the U.S. Constitution, students were given a pocket copy of the founding document, compliments of the Liberty Day Institute. With chapters in all 50 states, the Liberty Day Institute utilizes volunteer attorneys and politicians to conduct workshops for fifth-grade students across the county on the history and workings of government. Argeris visited East Side Monday and will visit West Side today.
