One Relay for Life team, the Save Second Base Sisters, are raising funds for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life through a purple-decorated toilet. People or businesses can pay $20 to have the toilet given to a friend, where it will sit until the person or business pays $10 to have it taken away, or $20 to forward it on to someone else. One of the "Save Second Base Sisters" team members, Tracy Glanz, said they came up with the idea and set a goal of raising at least $1,000 for Relay for Life. The South Big Horn Basin event will be July 15 at Warrior Stadium from 6 p.m. to midnight. Other members of her team are Rhonda Tigner, Amanda Kretz and Robyn Wildman. She said they also have out-of-town members coming for the event. The toilet was found Friday in front of Security State Bank. Glanz said it has made its way to 20 places, five business and 15 residences, to date.
