Theresa Faith Little, 92, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Worland Healthcare and Rehab Center.
Born December 14, 1923 in Loveland, Colorado, she was the daughter of Clyde and Julia (Heinricy) Smith. After living in Casper and Worland the family moved to the Lucerne area. She graduated from Thermopolis High School. In 1971 she attended one year of college in Laramie for LPN training.
Theresa married Lawrence Bonnett in 1941 and to this union was born two children. In 1948 she married Amos Little and the couple had two children.
She was employed as an Aide and LPN at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital, Gottsche, Pioneer Home, Canyon Hills Manor and retired at age 70 from the Wyoming Boys School in Worland. For two terms she served as State President for the Wyoming Federated Licensed Practical Nurses Association. Her hobbies included painting, beadwork, creating jewelry, camping, fishing and gardening. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Loved ones remaining include her sons, LeRoy (Linda) Little, Meeteetsee; Clyde (Bud) Little, Basin; and Darrell (Dee) Little, Cody; daughter, Darlene (Ron) McKnight, Salcha, Alaska; brother, Gene Smith, Thermopolis; five grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents; sisters, Annamae Smith and Myrna Whitaker; brothers, Henry, Robert, George and Clyde; and grandsons, James and Mike Little.
Graveside services will be at Monument Hill Cemetery in Thermopolis, Tuesday, July 12, 1:00 PM with Pastor Harvey Seidel officiating. A picnic lunch will follow at Candy Jack Park at 2 pm. Parking is on the East off 12th Street.
