WORLAND - The Hatchery Fire, burning seven miles east of Ten Sleep, has reached 85 percent containment. Resources on the fire Friday include a type five incident commander and two engines. Firefighters will monitor the fire and patrol Ten Sleep Canyon.
Travelers should watch for fallen debris through the Hatchery Fire area along U.S. Highway 16.
Beginning at 1 p.m. Friday, the area closure will be reduced to include the Ten Sleep North Wall below the runaway truck ramp on U.S. Highway 16.
The Arden Fire, burning approximately 45 road miles east of Greybull, near Shell Reservoir and Lake Adelaide, has reached 80 percent containment. Resources on the fire include one type two initial attack crew, one engine and one type three helicopter.
Road, area and trail closures remain in effect.
