Washakie Medical Center registered nurse Julie Stott discusses the features of the new patients rooms with one of the many tour groups Thursday. Margaret and Greg Lungren (right) listen as she describes two control areas for patients to call for help, run the TV and adjust the bed. There are also new controls in each patient room that will notify the nurse's station if a person gets out of bed, which patients are ready for meals, which patients are "risk for falling" and more. There are 18 patient rooms in the new wing, including three equipped with eICU to connect to a nurse or physician in Arizona if needed. There are four semiprivate, eight private and two labor and delivery rooms.
