Myrna Lou (Wesen) Bell

Myrna Lou (Wesen) Bell, 81, of Sheridan, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at her residence after a short illness. She was born the 10th child of Louis and Elvira (Osterberg) Wesen on July 7, 1935 in Glasgow, MT. She grew up in a loving Christian home and graduated from Glasgow High School in 1953. Myrna attended and graduated from Trinity Hospital School of Nursing in Minot, ND in September 1956.

She married David E. Bell on January 7, 1957. Myrna worked at hospitals in Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota and Wyoming and really loved her work as a nurse. She took eight years off while her children were young after which she started back to work at the Worland Hospital. Myrna felt her greatest accomplishment was her children. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Myrna was always ready to offer a kind word to support anyone.

Myrna was preceded in death by her parents and husband, David. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara (John) Maronick of Dayton, WY and Cynthia (Robert) Hackett of Canton, SD; sons, Michael J. (Amber) Bell of Cheyenne, WY and Jeffrey S. (Jackie) Bell of Billings, MT; grandchildren, Ashley, Ethan and Megan; and many great grandchildren.

A Visitation will begin at 12 p.m. Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Phil Wold officiating. A reception will be held immediately following at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 215 W. Works St. in Sheridan.
