Elizabeth Ann (Hall) Tappana

TOGETHER AGAIN Elizabeth Ann (Hall) Tappana, returned home on November 5,

2016 to her loving Heavenly Father and eternal companion, Lloyd Mack Tappana. She was living in Sterling Alaska at the time of her death.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 159 W. Marydale Ave., Soldotna, AK. Viewing will be from 1:00 pm until service time at the church.

Ann was born 16 March 1940 in Worland, WY to William Calvin "Cal" Hall, Sr. and Thelma Elizabeth "Betty" (Mosley) Hall, being the eldest of five children. Ann grew up in Worland and Thermopolis, WY and graduated from Hot Springs County High School in Thermopolis.

She met Mack at Clear AFS, AK and they were married on July 18, 1973. Their marriage was solemnized at the Idaho Falls Temple on Apr. 16, 1981. She and Mack made their home in Sterling, AK where they raised their six children and enjoyed the beauty of Alaska.

Ann was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving faithfully in many callings, including temple service. She had a strong testimony of the gospel. She devoted her life to her Heavenly Father, the Church and her family.

Her family wrote, "She loved her family very much and always put them first in her life. Her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews were the love of her life. She will be remembered for her strength, love, devotion, and kindness to her family, friends and neighbors."

Ann is survived by her sons, Robert (Tresie) Tappana of Anchorage, AK, Jeff (Karen) Williams of Celina, TX; daughters Yvette Tappana of Soldotna, AK, Nancianna (John) Clonan of Sterling, AK, Tracy Dee Jensema of Sterling, AK, Shannon Lynn Tappana of Soldotna, AK, step-daughters, Sue Ann Tappana and Ann Marie Erickson both of Bardstown, KY.; 16 grandchildren, Keith, Trina, Alisa, April, Tami, Robert (Beau),Marcus, Michael, Joseph, Zachary, JD, Kenny, Jordan, Auree, Jennifer and Benjamin; 22 great-grandchildren, Shelby, Kole, Krystine, Daniel, Gavin, Alexis, Tryston, Brittany, Matthew, Isabella, Jordan, Taylor, Braden, Emily, Jade, Jordan, Marcus, Melanie Kay, Sacha, Luke, Lilly and Eddie Lee ; sisters, Beverly (Rick) Mitchell of Palmer, AK, Kay (Bill) Root of Wasilla, AK; and brother, Hanes "Butch" (Theresa) Hall of Thermopolis, WY.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mack; her parents, Cal and Betty Hall, brother, Billy; grandparents, Hanes and Winifred Hall; Bert and Norma Mosley. She held them all close and dear to her heart.
