Frank Gentilini

Frank Gentilini of Worland, WY passed away November 4, 2016 in the comfort of his home at the age of 78. He was born November 23, 1937 to Frank and Lucy (Calligaro) Gentilini.

Frank was born and raised in Rock Springs, WY and graduated from Rock Springs High School. After school, Frank worked odd jobs until he decided to enlist in the Wyoming Army National Guard. He was stationed at Fort Carson in Colorado as an auto mechanic. Frank left the Wyoming National Guard as a Pvt. E-1 after serving his four year commitment. He then returned to Rock Springs where he worked for Mountain Fuel. He met and married Sue Carol Heack and from this union had three children; they later divorced. Later on in life he met and married Carla Faler (Baker) and even though they divorced, they remained good friends until his death.

In the late 80's Frank moved to Worland to be near his mother and remained there after her passing. He went to work for the Ram's Horn Café. Later on Frank worked as a janitor for the American Legion and Grace Chapel Community Church until his health forced him to retire. Frank was a believer of Jesus Christ, read his bible daily, and was an inspiration to those who knew him. He loved the Denver Broncos, watching John Wayne, old westerns, and WWF. There was not a day that you could not find him working in his yard or visiting friends.

Frank was diagnosed with and beat bladder cancer in 2013. In September 2016 his cancer came back. He started chemo treatment and was ready to fight again.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents Frank Leonard Gentilini and Lucy Grace Calligaro Gentilini, his brothers; Leonard, Lawrence and Ronald.
