WORLAND – Pinnacle Banks Festival of Trees creates winners all around. Not only do the local charities and organizations and purchasers win but participants are also rewarded for their efforts by being awarded prizes for the best tree, wreaths and miscellaneous items.
According to Festival of Trees coordinator Linda Keyes, the following trees, wreaths and miscellaneous items received recognition:
Trees:
First place: O.W.L. Unlimited
Second place: Hake Realty/ Mrs. Griemsman’s class
Third place: Worland Woodturners
Wreaths:
First place: Big Horn Water
Second place: Security State Bank
Third place: Children’s Resource Center
Miscellaneous:
First Place: Todays Homemakers
Second place: Worland Garden Club
Third Place: Don Day
The 21 decorated trees, 12 decorated wreaths and numerous miscellaneous items auctioned off Friday evening for the Festival of Trees generated $19,150 for local charities and organizations.
“Things went really well, the trees were nice and quite a few people attended. We were fortunate to raise that much money,” Keyes stated.
