WORLAND — Ten choir members from Worland High School have been selected for All-State Music, while four band members were selected, three for All-State Band and one for All-State Winds & Percussion.
Choir director Chad Rose said he had 35 choir members from both concert and marshazz audition for all-state and having 10 selected is the most for WHS since at least 1986, which is as far back as he could find records.
The choir members are Lauren Anderson, alto 2; Dalen Brazelton, bass 2; Nyah Campbell, alto 2; Caitlin Cottrell, alto 2; Mackenzie Cottrell for her fourth year, alto 1; Sariah Durrant, alto 2; Kyra Klinghagen, alto 1, Christian Nicholas, bass 2; Jaycee Page, alto 1 and Tatum Zimmerman, soprano 2.
Band members selected for All-State Band are Dane Bennett, oboe 2; Katelin Scheuerman, trumpet and Aaron Vigil, tuba.
Caleb Fraser, bassoon 1, was selected for the All-State Winds & Percussion.
The all-state groups will attend All-State Music Festival in Cody Jan. 15-17.
