Board approves early release for this Friday

WORLAND —The Washakie County School District No. 1 Board of Trustees amended this year’s school calendar to allow for early release this Friday.

Superintendent David Nicholas recommended at Monday’s regular meeting that the board amend the calendar to allow for a 12:45 p.m. dismissal so family and staff can make travel arrangements for Christmas with Christmas Eve day on Saturday.
