Lori Lenz

Lori Lynn Lenz, 59 returned to her Heavenly Father on Jan 16th after losing a short battle with A.L.S. Her deep love of family and belief in God supported her and gave her peace.

Lori was born to the late Mike and Yvonne (Deitchler) Smith on the Fourth of August 1957. She was raised and schooled in Thermopolis, WY with her three siblings. Lori met her future husband in the spring of 1974 and she and George were married October 12, 1974. There were blessed with two sons during their 42 years together.

Lori was preceded in death by one sister, Jeanne, her parents Mike and Yvonne (Deitchler) Smith, her step-father Burt Moore and her grandparents.

Lori is survived by her husband George, sons Andrew and Casey, her brother Mike (Ramona) Smith, her sister Christi (Bret) Barber, step-brothers Roger and Steve Moore, as well as extended family.

Lori is joining and leaving many friends. Her warm greetings and uplifting personality will be greatly missed. Even in her darkest time she was able to comfort and leave people happier then she found them. One day we look forward to hearing that warm "Well, Hello!" from her as she greets us at the gates.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at St. Alban's Episcopal Church Saturday Jan 21, at 2 o'clock.
