WORLAND — Washakie County Sheriff’s Office and Worland Police released a statement this afternoon stating that they a suspect confessed Thursday night to the bomb threat that led to the evacuation of Worland High School Thursday afternoon.
According to the statement, “The suspect is a juvenile male who was enrolled and attending Worland High School. Due to the age of the suspect, he was released to the custody of his father per the Washakie County Attorney’s recommendation. Formal affidavits and charges have been forwarded to the Washakie County Attorney for prosecution. No injuries to persons or damages to property were reported during this incident.”

All school activities have resumed including tonight’s Worland basketball games against Torrington at Warrior Gym.
