Edgar Daniel Stark lll passed away in his home in Jackson Wyoming February 22, 2017. Born in Cheyenne WY, March 24th 1961 to Margaret (Meg) Coats Stark and Edgar Daniel (Dan) Stark. Two years later the family moved to Worland WY, where Ed grew up and graduated from Worland High School in 1979. From there he attended Rocky Mountain College in Billings Montana, then on to Western Culinary School of Arts, Graduating in 1990 as a chef. From there Ed's career was wide and varied in a number amazing restaurants. From Boise Idaho, to Worland WY's Country Club finally landing in Jackson Hole where he distinguished himself at the Granary at Spring Creek Ranch, Bubba's BBQ and as a Souse Chef with the Million Dollar Steak House at the Cowboy Bar. Ed donated time, money and effort to those in need and for over 20 years would travel to his home town of Worland annually and cook for the Gorgeous Gal's Gala, a local Cancer survivors group.
Proceeded in death by his father (Dan) Edgar Daniel Stark and by his adopted sister Tereasa Bader. Ed is survived by his mother Margaret (Meg) Stark of Worland WY, his son Edgar Daniel (Dan) Stark the lV of Jackson, oldest daughter Desiree Jayne Stark (Christopher James) of The Dalles OR and youngest, Mariah Louise Stark of Tooele UT. 3 granddaughters Breanne Stark of Jackson WY, Allison Rydalch of Missoula MT and Faren James of The Dalles OR. Although Ed was an only child he leaves behind three brothers Rob Logan, Ray Kohn and Mike Willard all of Worland along with many special friends and coworkers.
An avid Hunter and fisherman his entire life he loved spending time in the outdoors and sharing that joy with his family and friends
Cremation has taken place, and the family will be planning services this summer in the Big Horn Mountains.
