Lyle Earl Hall retired pharmacist, passed away peacefully at the Worland Healthcare on March 10, 2017. He had reached the ripe old age of 91.
Lyle was born on February 20, 1926 in Bridgeport, Nebraska, the first son born to Earnest and Charlotte (Laing) Hall. He attended school in Gering, Nebraska. Following graduation, he joined the US Navy and served with the Naval Construction Battalion on the Island of Tinian. When he returned from service, he attended Chadron University and graduating from Lincoln, Nebraska University with a pharmaceutical degree. While attending college, he married Norma Jean Cape. To this union four children were born, Kenneth, Jeri, Steven and Kevin.
Lyle purchases a partnership in the BiRite Drug Store in Rawlins, later moving it Oregon and finally back to Worland purchasing Reed’s Drug store. After having it in three different locations, he retired.
After the death of Jean, He married Joyce Phillips and gained three more children, Rick, Vicki and Marvin. Lyle enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping and later in life took up woodworking.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Jean, son, Steven and two brothers, Rich and Donald, and one sister, Alice Gentry.
Survivors include his wife Joyce of Worland, children, Kenneth of Worland, Kevin (Sali) of Basin and Jeri (Gary) Gallentine of Glenwood, Colorado; stepsons, Rick Phillips, Vicki Miller (Jerry Lewis) and Marvin (Deanna) Phillips; 16 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; sisters: Glenda Craig of Covina, California, Louise Fox of Colorado; sisters-in-law, Caroline Hall of Gering, Nebraska and Darlene Hall of Mullins, Nebraska.
