Clinton Orley Holmes

Clinton Orley Holmes passed on to our heavenly Father, the morning of his 79th birthday, May 27, 2017.

He was diagnosed with esophageal cancer, February of 2016. He fought hard but still lost the battle.

Clint was born in Casper, WY, to Lillian M. (Farmer) & Charles W. Holmes, May 27, 1938.

He graduated from Natrona County High School in 1957.

He was married to Marcella L. "Marcy" Vigo on July 5, 1958. They had 3 wonderful sons, Craig, Burt, and Charles.

Clint was a Cathodic Protection Supervisor for Marathon Pipeline. Upon retiring from Marathon he formed his own consulting firm providing cathodic protection services for a variety of locations around the U.S.

Clint was a lifetime member of the Powell Elks Lodge #2303.

His hobbies were, camping, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

He was preceeded in death by his parents, brothers Milo and Delane, and granddaughter Gabrielle.

He is survived by his wife, Marcy, Sons Craig (Mary Ann), Burt, and Charlie.

Granddaugthers, Jessica (Derek), Krystal (Shawn), and Sophie; 3 great-granddaughters and 1 great-grandson.

Visitation to be held at Veile Mortuary from 3-7 P.M. on Wednesday, May 31, 2017. The funeral service will be at Grace Lutheran Church in Worland, Wyoming at 11 A.M. on Thursday, June 1, 2017. The graveside service will be in Casper, Wyoming at Highland Cemetery on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 2 P.M.
