Dorothy M. Ziesman

Dorothy M. Ziesman 94 of Helena and former Lewistown resident died Monday, May 29, 2017 in the Masonic Home in Helena of natural causes. She was born August 4, 1922 in Arco, ID the daughter of Oliver B. and Elsie (Wilhite) Bain. She received her education in Worland, Wyoming graduating from High School in 1941. She worked in Worland as a bookkeeper following high school and on April 5, 1942 she was united in marriage to Reynold Ziesman in Worland, WY. They lived on the Ziesman Ranch near Hyattville until 1946 when they moved to Mosby, MT. She worked at home and helped Reynold. In the early 1980's they retired and moved to Lewistown where they built a home.

Dorothy played the fiddle and was a member of the Harbor Lights Dance Band and the Kitchen Band in Lewistown. She also enjoyed gardening, sewing, painting and was always available to give permanents and fix the ladies hair in the community.

Reynold preceded her in death in 2012 and she lived in Valle Vista Manor until moving to the Masonic Home in Helena to be closer to her nephew Harley Ziesman and niece Marva Luraski.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Dorothy M. Ziesman will be Monday, June 12th, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the Cloyd Chapel in Lewistown with interment to be on Tuesday, June 13th, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. in the Ten Sleep Cemetery in Ten Sleep, WY. The Cloyd Funeral Home is assisting the family.
