Flood warning issued through Saturday

WORLAND — The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a flood warning for a dam floodgate release in western Big Horn County, north central Washakie County and east central Park County until 10:15 a.m. Saturday

At 10:15 a.m. Thursday, emergency management reported flooding along the Greybull and Big Horn rivers in Park, Washakie and Big Horn counties. Big Horn County reported increased flooding in the Manderson area.

According to the NWS, some locations that will experience flooding include Worland, Greybull, Basin, Otto, Manderson, Winchester, Burlington and Emblem.
