Jonathon Lee Leyva

Jonathon Lee Leyva "Jon" age 36, passed away at his father's residence in Worland, June 26, 2017. Jon was born on July 20,1980 in Twin falls Idaho to Carlos "Charles" Leyva and Polly (Muñoz) Leyva. He married Tiffany Leyva (McQuarrie) and from that marriage they had three daughters named Natalia, Nyssa and Mariska Leyva. They were later divorced and Jon remarried Destiny Leyva (Mueller) and had a son named Azriel Leyva. Jon is survived by his father and his sister Sophia Gomez and many cousins and nephews and nieces.

He had a big heart and deeply cared for others around him. Jon was proud of his daughters and son. He loved his children with all his heart and did what he could to show them his love. He would have gone to end of the earth and back to make sure they were happy. Jon was a hardworking man with big appetite for outdoor activities. He enjoyed going to the mountains or being on the lake with family and friends. He always had a reason to be outside which included camping out to even having a barbeque with whomever was willing to join him. Jon was full of laughter and if he could do it, he enjoyed putting a smile on everyone's face around him. He gave the best advice to those who needed it. He never backed down from a good challenge whenever one was offered to him. Jon loved working on cars and had a grand time going out to the shooting range. He loved baseball and forever will be a number one fan to the New York Yankees. He was always very proud and supportive our military as well. His dad was very important to him and he never missed a day to go visit him and just hang out discussing the events on TV. He enjoyed taking his children out and being able to teach them something exciting and new. He always had something to talk about, even if it was the most random topic you could think of, but that's what made him special to all of us. Jon was an extraordinary man with big dreams. He was cared by many and loved by tons. He never will be forgotten; his love will spread through all of us each and every day.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday July 1, 2017 at the Worland Complex Community Center.
