William W. Felton, 77-year-old Ten Sleep resident passed away in Big Horn, Wyoming on June 26, 2017.
Willie was born on March 28, 1940 in Greybull, Wyoming to Howard and Mildred (Herron) Brown. He was later adopted by Leonard Felton. He spent his early years in Greybull. He graduated from NCHS High School in Casper in 1958. He loved racing stock cars where he was the State Champion in 1958. Following graduation Willie chose to serve his country in the United States Marine Corp.
He had many hobbies and was outstanding in each one. He had many of his award winning photographs published in books and magazines. He was also a Cowboy poet and singer. Hunting was a favorite pastime as he was an avid black powder shooter. He was a member of the Big Horn Muzzleloader Club.
He spent his career with Pacific Power on the line crew, retiring in 1977 after 25 years of service.
He married Karen Weber on June 4, 1983.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Lloyd.
Survivors include his wife Karen of 34 years, daughters, Kim Blackman, Sheri (Jason) Hiser, Donette (Gene) Wilenius; son, Mark (Regina) Weber; sisters, Hazel (Reese) Beck and Norren Brown; 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren with one on the way.
