Serving the Big Horn Basin for over 100 years
Kimber Leigh Madison, 58, passed away on August 05, 2016, surrounded by friends and family after a courageous battle with ALS.
Born in Worland, Wyoming on February 27, 1958, Kimber grew up experiencing different regions across the United States due to her father’s career in the oil industry. By the end of her life, Kimber had lived in eight states and four countries.
An avid traveler, Kimber’s real passion was her family and friends. Kimber sought to instill in her children a zest for life, a commitment to family and friends, and the power of a smile and a “squeeze hug”. In warm weather, she could be found outside tending to her plants or feeding the birds.
She is survived by her children, Brian Madison and Sarah (Madison) Pennington; brother, Michael Wells; nephew, Michele Wells; and two grandchildren Grayson and Vivienne Pennington. Kimber was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Amy Wells.
A celebration of Kimber’s life will be held on Saturday, August 5 at 11 a.m. at Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Worland, WY.
In lieu of flowers, please consider sharing your favorite memories of Kimber with her family. Help us recreate the joy Kimber brought to you and those around her. The stories will be shared with her grandchildren for years to come.
